New Parents Nicole Richie, Joel Madden Plan for LA Gala

          BEVERLY HILLS, CA, OCTOBER 21, 2009 – New parents Joel Madden and Nicole Richie (left to right) are joined by actresses Julie Bowan and Kellie Martin for a private March of Dimes planning event at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills.  All are part of the Los Angeles "Storks Club” who are arranging for the March of Dimes Celebration of Babies luncheon to be held Saturday, November 7, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles.  Celebration of Babies is a fundraising event recognizing celebrities and prominent individuals who are celebrating the birth of their children while honoring role models who are committed to March of Dimes mission to improve the health of all babies.  Richie and Madden, recently became the proud parents of a son named Sparrow, are among the celebrity parents who will participate in the Celebration of Babies.  Halle Berry, Courtney Thorne-Smith, Hank Azaria are expected to attend the gala event.
