The members of the March of Dimes National Office of Volunteers (NOV) facilitate regular and direct interchange of information and ideas between the foundation’s national Board of Trustees and the chapter leadership from all areas of the country.  The NOV increases the priority of volunteerism throughout the organization by providing leadership and guidance in selecting committees and effective volunteer leaders and providing for their continued development throughout the March of Dimes.  All efforts of the NOV are focused on helping the March of Dimes realize its mission to serve America’s mothers and babies.

After joining Indiana’s PSI Energy in 1992, Mr. Hale held a variety of positions, including president of the PSI Foundation and manager of Economic Development.  Following the merger of PSI Energy & CG&E in 1995, he became general manager of Marketing and Sales then vice president of corporate communications.  He also served as president of CG&E from July 2000 to October 2001.

A graduate of Hanover College, Indiana, Mr. Hale currently serves on its Board of Trustees.  He is also a board member of the National Underground Freedom Center, the Playhouse in the Park, the Cincinnati Zoo, and is Chairman of the Contemporary Arts Center, among others.  He is married, has three children, and is an avid marathon runner.
